Grace Murphy

Paralegal

Education: Grace Murphy earned a Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies with a minor in Criminal Justice from East Central University, where she was a member of the Dean’s honor roll, Alpha Chi – The National College Honor Society, Pi Sigma Alpha – The National Political Science Honor Society, Honor Court, and The National Society of Leadership and Success. Ms. Murphy also served as the Chapter President of Chi Omega Phi Theta. Ms. Murphy received her bachelor’s degree in legal studies with a minor in criminal justice. While in her undergrad she received the Judge Martha K. Kilgore Legal Studies Scholarship and the Foundation Scholarship.

 

Prior Experience: Ms. Murphy interned with Associate District Judge Mark Melton at the 22nd Judicial Court. Her work included observing courtroom proceedings, assisting with legal research, managing documentation, and supporting clerical operations. This offered her a comprehensive understanding of court processes and judicial conduct. Ms. Murphy also held professional roles in both educational and administrative settings.

 

Personal: Originally from Davis, Oklahoma. Ms. Murphy enjoys spending her free time with family, friends, and her cat, Evie. She is an avid reader and also enjoys playing pickleball and golf.
