Practice Areas Bart Jay Robey is a litigator whose practice concentrates on defense of products liability and property/casualty actions. He also maintains an active insurance coverage counseling and litigation practice. Mr. Robey litigates in all Oklahoma state and federal courts, the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals, and tribal court in the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma.

Education J.D., George Washington University Law School in 2003, where he was a member of Phi Delta Phi and the Moot Court Board. While in law school, he also clerked for the late Oklahoma Supreme Court Justice Marian Opala. Mr. Robey received his bachelor’s degree in political science and communications from the School of Public Affairs at American University in Washington, D.C.

Professional Associations: The President of Chubbuck Duncan and Robey P.C., Mr. Robey was selected as an Oklahoma Super Lawyer for the years 2019-2022, and a Super Lawyer-Rising Star for the years 2016-2018. He is currently a director of the Oklahoma County Bar Association.

Mr. Robey is also a co-founder and past President of the Oklahoma Chapter of the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance. His professional memberships include the International Association of Defense Counsel, the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel, the Defense Research Institute, the Oklahoma Association of Defense Counsel, the Federal Bar Association, and the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma Bar Association.

Personal Outside of the practice of law, Mr. Robey is an adjunct professor in the Petree College of Arts and Sciences at Oklahoma City University where he teaches electoral and voting rights law. He also proudly serves on the board of directors for Focus on Home, a non-profit organization that helps families transitioning out of homelessness
